Is Mangosteen a miracle food?

It's a miracle to my family

Mangosteen came into my life when I was hired to write a web page for Xango Juice. It was a tough job, because I thought I was writing about the healthy benefits of a super food, and my client was really just selling the MLM program.

Regardless, I got so interested in what I read about the natural health benefits of mangosteen that I bought some and started taking it.

The upshot is, I've been taking mangosteen juice on and off ever since, and I have my family taking it too.

I wasn't very faithful at first, because it is expensive, but one day I felt like I was getting a kidney infection. I wasn't about to go to the doctor, but remembered the juice. So every couple of hours I took some, and by the next day the problem was gone. Then one day I mentioned to a cousin that my husband had bad knees and she immediately told me to get mangosteen, because it had cured the pain in her knees.

Before long I made taking my ounce of mangosteen juice part of my nightly routine, and it has made a huge difference in how I feel. I was really upset when I ran out and found our health food store was out as well! Now I order on line and make sure we have it on hand all the time.

I loved the flavor of Xango - if it wasn't so expensive I could easily have downed the whole bottle in a day. But I now buy pure mangosteen juice instead. It doesn't have that wonderful flavor, but it only makes sense to me, because Xango and other blended brands are filled with less expensive juices and still cost the same (or more) as pure juice. I can add my own grape juice, etc. if I want to for way less than $30+ per quart. But I don't - I just drink my ounce each night.

So what does this super food do? It gives me more energy and keeps common bugs at bay. I haven't even had a cold since I've been taking it regularly. My husband hasn't suffered from any "bugs" either - but better yet, it's keeping his blood sugar levels stable.

Before I got him started on mangosteen he had to take Metformin - which was scary to us because all prescription drugs are dangerous in our eyes. Now, in spite of the fact that he eats too many carbs, his blood sugar stays at a safe level with no dangerous drugs.

A newspaper article the other day said scientists have tested it and it "can't work." Do you suppose maybe nature has some surprises for those scientists? That maybe there are things they don't know how to measure? And don't the results speak louder than laboratory tests? I think so.

In Dr. David Tanton's excellent book, A Drug-Free Approach to Healthcare, you'll find several examples of doctors telling how they have taken patients off pharmaceuticals in favor of mangosteen treatment. It's known for stabilizing blood sugar, curing acid reflux disease, ending pain, elevating mood, killing cancer cells, improving cardiovascular health, and much more.

One doctor said "Why would anyone ever use a drug when a food could do the same thing?"

Is mangosteen juice a miracle food? I think so.
